RAIS is an instrument for the creation ofa a development network at the territory of the city of East Sarajevo by means of which the particular needs of every of the six municipalities, their interconnectivity and the projects of importance for the city as a whole are identified. It deals with the presentation and promotion of the economic potentials of the city, preparation and making of development projects, and application for funds necessary for their implementation. RAIS and the municipal departments for economy and social activities are the key participants in making and implementing of economic development strategies at a local level.The aim of the Agency is also to present actively the information about unused industrial capacities and natural resources, company registration procedures.
